Family Style Fest is every LA pop-up's dream - it's where the biggest and best brands gather to showcase their creativity. 

We knew that if we ever got the opportunity, we would use it to flex different muscles than we're used to. This year, we focused on our Spicy Fish Sando and Sweet & Spicy Shrimp Sando - two dishes that summarize what Softies is. 

They're a mix of our Korean, American, and Angeleno upbringings: the Filet o' Fish that was unreasonably delicious as a kid, the kkanpoong shrimp that we ordered at Chinese restaurants only for special occasions, and the chili crisp that we would put on any and everything in college. 

When we decided to collaborate with Lavender for our exclusive tee, we wanted to depict this departure from our beef burgers by going all-in on the fishing theme. The end product is something we're really proud of - it's fun, playful, soft, and lowkey deep. Isn't that so Softies?
